Hike to the Brew Hut
I did my first proper hike in Canada. I went up with the VOC (Varsity Outdoor Club). The hike started at about 800m and we got up to about 1700m where the new Brew hut is. We were surprised how much snow was there, sometimes about 40cm. The Brew hut is between Squamish and Whistler on the left side of the road. The hut was build by people of the VOC this year, we did some more work on it. We left Vancouver at about 5am ... it was good fun.

our hike started behind the lake where the road does a right turn
and so we started to hike
sometime it was similar to the hike I have done in sweden, called the Sörmlandsleden hike next to Stockholm
