Hike to Red Heather Hut with Skis
Back to the rules, skiing with leather boots
Back country season has started. We started early at about 7am at the UBC. We had to drive about 1 hour on a highway and afterwards half a hour on a gravel road. It was so much fun to ski after the long summer. It was a lot of snow there and it was the first time for me on teleskis, difficult.
Vancouver in the south, north east of Squamish is Red Heather Hut
where we skied
early in the morning, it was dark when I went outside
we reached the car park and were surprised how much snow was there so we could start skiing directly form there

richard, the car park was about 3000 feet (1000m) and there was already 10-20cm snow, we were lucky that we had a 4 wheel drive car
